Tiffen 58mm North Star Effect Filter
The Tiffen 58mm North Star filter creates multiple points of light, or "stars", which radiate outwards from a central light source. This filter is supplied in a rotating mount for precise placement of the star effect.
This filter is particularly useful for wedding photographers. It helps create a romantic atmosphere with special effects that clients are looking for. North Star filters are most effective with a point light source such as a candle, match, torch or street lamp.
Tiffen's ColorCore glass is produced by a process that permanently laminates the filter material between two pieces of optical glass, polished to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, and then mounted in precision aluminium rings.
