The Tiffen 58mm Vector Star Effects Filter creates multiple points of light, or "stars", extending outwards from a central light source. This filter is supplied in a rotating mount for precise placement of the star effect.

Wedding photographers will particularly appreciate the value of this filter. When it comes to special effects shots, why not offer your client a table photograph of the menu or invitation next to a twinkling candle filled with stars? Shooting at night? Give that street light a different and more dramatic look by using the star filter. Any point light source will produce the effect.
Tiffen's ColorCore glass is produced through a process that involves permanently laminating the filter material between two pieces of optical glass, ground flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, and then mounted in precision aluminium rings.

ColorCore technology
