Tiffen 67mm North Star Effects Filter
The Tiffen 67mm North Star filter creates multiple points of light, or "stars", radiating outwards from a central light source. This filter comes in a rotating mount for precise placement of the star effect.
This filter is particularly useful for wedding photographers. It helps create a romantic mood and a special effect sought after by clients. North Stars are best used with a point light source such as a candle, match, torch or street lamp.
Tiffen's ColorCore glass is produced by a process that permanently laminates the filter material between two pieces of optical glass, ground flat to tolerances of one ten-thousandth of an inch, then mounted in precision aluminium rings.
- The effect is produced by a series of fine lines etched on the flat optical surface of a clear filter

This process allows for greater colour accuracy compared to simply tinted glass which can be subject to variations during the tinting process
