The Tiffen 77mm Vector Star Effect Filter creates multiple points of light, or "stars", that radiate outward from a central light source. This filter comes in a rotating mount for precise placement of the star effect.

Tiffen ColorCore glass is produced by a process that involves permanently laminating the filter material between two pieces of optical glass, ground flat to tolerances of one ten-thousandth of an inch, then mounted in precision aluminium rings.

Tiffen ColorCore glass is sealed between two sheets of optical glass. This way, Tiffen can better control the different densities of their filters and thus create more precise degrees of filtration. This process allows for greater colour accuracy compared to simply tinted glass which can suffer deviations during the tinting process
