The Tiffen 82mm Vector Star Effect Filter creates multiple light points, or "stars", which extend from a central light source. This filter is mounted on a rotating ring for precise placement of the star effect.

Tiffen's ColorCore glass is produced by a process that involves permanently laminating the filter material between two pieces of optical glass, ground flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, then mounted in precision aluminium rings.
