Tiffen 77mm UV Haze 1 filter with wide-angle mount
The Tiffen 77mm UV Haze 1 filter with wide-angle mount is a versatile clear filter that helps absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. This filter is particularly useful when shooting at high altitude or near bodies of water. No additional colouration or contrast is provided, allowing you to pair this filter with others.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to be left permanently on lenses. Filters help reduce dust and moisture reaching your lens element and provide additional protection in the event of drops or situations where scratches could occur.
This filter features a slimmer profile mounting ring, ideal for use with wide-angle lenses. It has no front thread for stacking filters.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process involving laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
