Tiffen 67 mm Digital HT (High Transmission) Multi-Coated Circular Polarising Filter
The Tiffen 67 mm Digital High Transmission (DHT) Multi-Coated Circular Polarising Filter is a filter that combines the strength of a titanium coating with superior quality optical glass. Using their patented ColorCore technology, this filter represents the highest scratch-resistant durability available. There is no need to worry about cleaning this filter as the coating protects the surface, thus maintaining the optical quality of the glass.
This filter has a low-profile design as well as an ultra-durable filter ring. The "Wow" feature is that Digital HT filters are designed to exceed military specifications in terms of hardness and durability - which is no mean feat.
Reflected light rays become polarised. Polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can eliminate unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colours, providing better contrast.
The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and adjusted by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies depending on the rotation of the filter and its orientation to the sun.
Note: Circular polarisers are specifically designed for use with autofocus SLR cameras (They will also work without problems on manual systems and video cameras)

ColorCore technology
