Tiffen 72mm Digital HT (High Transmission) Multi-Coated Circular Polarising Filter 
 
The Tiffen 72mm Digital High Transmission (DHT) Multi-Coated Circular Polarising Filter is a filter that combines the strength of a titanium coating with premium optical glass. Using their patented ColorCore technology, this filter represents the highest durability and scratch resistance available. There's no need to worry about cleaning this filter as the coating protects the surface, thus maintaining the optical quality of the glass.
This filter features a low-profile design as well as an ultra-durable filter ring. The "Wow" feature is that Digital HT filters are designed to exceed military specifications for hardness and durability - which is no mean feat.
Reflected light rays become polarised. Polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can eliminate unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colours, providing better contrast.
The effect can be observed through the viewfinder and modified by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies depending on the rotation of the filter and its orientation relative to the sun.
Note: Circular polarisers are specifically designed for use with autofocus SLR cameras (they will also work without problems on manual systems and video cameras)
