Tiffen 77mm Digital HT (High Transmission) Multi-Coated Circular Polarising Filter 
 
The Tiffen 77mm Digital High Transmission (DHT) Multi-Coated Circular Polarising Filter is a filter that combines the strength of a titanium coating with premium optical glass. Utilising their patented ColorCore technology, this filter represents the most scratch-resistant durability available. There is no need to worry about cleaning this filter as the coating protects the surface, thereby maintaining the optical quality of the glass.
This filter features a low-profile design as well as an extra-durable filter ring. The "Wow" element is that Digital HT filters are certified to exceed military specifications for hardness and durability - which is no small feat.
Reflected light rays become polarised. Polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can eliminate unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colours by providing better contrast.
The effect can be observed in the viewfinder and adjusted by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies depending on the rotation of the filter and its orientation relative to the sun.
Note: Circular polarisers are specifically designed for use with autofocus SLR cameras (They also work without any issues on manual systems and video cameras)
