The Formatt Supermist Black 1/2 5.65 x 5.65" Filter is an excellent portrait filter as it diffuses fine detail in a photograph and reduces overall contrast. This filter creates a softer diffusion than a standard Supermist with the advantage of not lightening shadow areas as much.

Note! Supermist Black filters are available in intensities from 1/8 to 5, with grade 5 having the most pronounced effect

Super Mist Range

- Warm Super Mist Black - Combines the effects of a Super Mist Black with a warmer tone
- Warm Super Mist Clear - The Warm Super Mist combines the classic Super Mist with a unique skin tone enhancer adding natural warmth; This is useful outdoors in shaded situations where there is excess blue in the image and full lighting control is not possible
