Overview


The Formatt 5.65 x 5.65" Soft Effects 1 Clear filter produces clean, predictable and reproducible distortion effects for HD (High Definition) and is manufactured using a revolutionary process that essentially creates optical distortion across the entire filter. This clean distortion is the result of optical lenses strategically placed in the filter surface, which creates uniform softening with the subject and is very pleasing to the eye.

All Formatt filters are manufactured with water-white Schott optical glass that is precision polished and ground to ensure absolute optical flatness and optimum performance. Each filter guarantees flatness with a maximum value of 2 waves and comes with an individual measurement from a laser interferometer.

Note! Formatt Soft Effects Clear filters are available in intensities from 1/8 to 3, with 3 having the greatest effect
