This optically transparent filter does not affect the overall image quality whilst helping to reduce dust, scratches, moisture and other elements that may damage your lens.
This filter is uncoated for greater durability compared to multi-coated filters.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting it onto precision metal mounts.
