This optically transparent filter does not affect overall image quality whilst helping to reduce dust, scratches, moisture and other elements that could damage your lens.
This filter is uncoated for greater durability compared to multi-coated filters.

Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
