This optically transparent filter does not affect the overall image quality whilst helping to prevent dust, scratches, moisture, and other elements from reaching or damaging your lens.
This filter features standard coating to help reduce reflections and improve light transmission.

Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting it in precision metal rings.
