The MA-4.100 is a compact 4-channel digital power amplifier for multimedia applications and small sound system solutions. The DSP amplifier with 4 × 4 matrix is ideal for, for example, equipping conference and training rooms as well as for installation in multimedia kiosks. It can be easily integrated into multimedia controls via RS-485 and is easily configured with Fohhn Audio Soft via a USB-C port.
Dante and AES67
Audinate's Dante digital audio network is one of the most widely used standards in professional audio. This is why at Fohhn, we also equip many active speaker systems and amplifiers with Dante interfaces. High-quality uncompressed audio data transmission takes place via standard IP networks with low latency. All Fohhn devices with integrated Dante card also guarantee audio transmission according to the AES67 standard. Complex audio routing and redundant cabling are also possible.
Fibre optic transmitter to the endpoint
In the future, an innovative solution from Fohhn will also enable Dante signals to be transmitted via a fibre optic transmitter to the endpoint. The fibre optic transmitter cable is then directly connected to the active speaker system. Fohhn systems can be equipped with SFP transceivers for this purpose. This means that very long distances can be easily covered and interference is avoided, ensuring simple installation. In addition, we will continue to offer the option of connecting Dante signals conventionally, via copper cable with RJ-45 connection.
