Arri Ballasts: EB 2.5/4 Alf
ARRI EB 2.5/4 – the classic electronic ballast that operates at a standard current frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. To be used with 2500W and 4000W lamps. The ballast operates in two modes – 75 Hz in "Flicker-free" mode and 50 or 60 Hz in "Low noise" mode. Features - constant lamp power and colour temperature throughout the lamp's lifetime - possibility to dim the light between 50 and 100% - automatic switching for 115 V~ and 230 V~ power supplies - Low noise switch - noise reduction in the luminaire - Active line filter - power factor correction - protection against line overvoltage - overheating protection - reduced weight and size compared to magnetic ballasts - light intensity at least 5% higher compared to magnetic ballasts - bulb life at least 20% longer compared to magnetic ballasts - solid construction, including external heat sinks as part of the housing and a bumper at the control panel - special mechanical design for quick opening of the EB in case of maintenance
