Hawkwoods V-Lok Sony Venice Camera Adapter - Hot Swap
The VL-SV1 has been designed to meet all the power requirements of your Sony Venice camera and Sony R7 recorder. The SV1 has many features that the end user will find very reassuring, firstly a new 100% locking system has been added to the SV1 which you will find in the product box, this eliminates the issue of the adapter or battery lifting off the V-Mount of the Sony Venice/R7 under minimal pressure, ensuring peace of mind for continuous power supplied to the camera.
Secondly, the SV1 offers a dual input system to meet the high power requirements of the Venice, allowing the user to automatically switch between a high capacity ground battery and the V-Lok battery mounted on the SV1. The main power is first drawn from the ground battery (Input 1) and will switch once discharged to the mounted V-Lok battery (Input 2) without loss of power, this being monitored by a dual LED system.
The SV1 also has the ability to power additional accessories that the user might want to power in addition to the Venice, the voltage specifications can be found below:
- 2 x D-Tap outputs (11-17v)
- 1 x 2-pin Lemo (11-17v)
- 2 x 3-pin RS Fischer (24v) (Start/Start enabled)
- 1 x 5-pin Lemo (for use with wooden cameras, D-box Start/Stop enabled)
