PROFESSIONAL V-LOCK BATTERY PLATE MARK II WITH 3X D-TAP (14.8V/10A) AND 1 X USB (5.1V/2.1A)
The Hedbox UNIX II Professional Cine V-Mount battery plate enables the use of V-Lock batteries on cameras and/or numerous professional peripherals simultaneously. Featuring a high-quality aluminium v-lock trigger,
the Hedbox UNIX II plates are designed and tested for up to 10,000 battery cycles.
Three (3) DC D-Tap power outputs provide 14.8V/10A for additional devices and peripherals such as on-board recorders, LEDs, monitors, remote focus systems, wireless transmitters, etc. An integrated 5V / 2.1A USB power output is located on the top of the UNIX plate.
Designed with versatility in mind, the UNIX II plates feature multiple mounting holes for universal camera connection or peripheral mounting — 4 M3x12 screws are included with UNIX to mount the plate as needed. No cabling is included with this UNIX plate.
High-quality aluminium V-lock trigger
Using technology that has allowed us to use a high-quality aluminium alloy V-lock trigger, the locking and unlocking mechanism supports up to 10,000 cycles for a V-mount battery on the Unix plate.
3 DC D-Tap power outputs
Unix provides three DC D-Tap 14.8V power outputs. The three D-Tap outputs allow additional power for cameras, on-board recorders, LEDs, monitors, remote focus systems, wireless transmission systems, etc.
Multiple mounting holes for universal camera connection
With its multiple mounting holes (4 M3x12 screws included), Unix can be mounted on any device or camera connection.
Integrated 5V / 2.1A USB power output socket
The 5V/2.1A USB output can be used to power any external USB electronic device. This feature allows you to use the Unix V-lock plate as a power station to recharge your mobile phone, tablet, or any other electronic device that can be powered via 5V USB.
IMPROVEMENTS:
5-pin power connector
The new UNIX II is now equipped with a very high-quality 5-pin power connector for battery power connection (no more issues with bent pins).
New metal back plate design
The metal back plate has been completely modified and redesigned, so the new UNIX is now stronger and more robust and can support much heavier battery models (300Wh and 380Wh).
Internal power connection and soldering
The new UNIX II now features internal soldering and a D-Tap PCB connection, offering better long-term product performance.
3 D-Tap connections designed for low-cost D-Tap connectors
Many customers use low-cost Chinese D-Tap connectors that are not built to Anton Bauer's D-Tap dimensional standards. The result was that they could not be used with the old UNIX, which had only one D-Tap output designed for these connectors.
The new UNIX II can now accept low-cost connectors on all 3 D-Tap power outputs.
