MORE THAN JUST EQUALISATION... The EQ 215 (15+15 bands) and EQ 230 (30+30 bands) constant Q graphic equalisers incorporate new functions such as equalisation range selection, feedback detection via illuminated faders, improved dynamic range and high-quality filters. FEATURES Continuously adjustable high-pass filter (10-300 Hz) to define the passband (this filter is very useful for mixing stringed instruments, vocals and for controlling low-frequency feedback) - BALANCED: Equipped with electronically balanced input and output circuits for noise immunity in long cable configurations. - CONSTANT Q: The constant Q topology ensures minimal interaction between bands and makes the bandwidth of each filter independent of the gain/attenuation setting. - RANGE: Selection of the overall gain/attenuation range for each band for more precise adjustment. Front panel indication by dual LED. - FFS: Feedback Detection System (EQ-230 only). A microprocessor associated with each channel scans the entire spectrum to detect and display any feedback. Direct LED indicator on each fader. - PARAMETRIC: Incorporates a fully parametric equalisation point on each channel (EQ-230 only). The range is asymmetrical (± 15 dB-30 dB) allowing notch filter settings. - LOW NOISE: The use of very low noise circuitry and other techniques offers exceptional dynamic range. - AUTO BYPASS: Incorporates built-in fail-safe relay-controlled bypass circuits to eliminate on/off switch transients and for signal integrity in the event of internal failures.
