The RB-LU4 is a quadruple stereo 1U rack-mount unit for interfacing balanced professional line levels with domestic or semi-pro unbalanced equipment, for example, to connect a professional satellite receiver to a consumer hi-fi system. All connections are on the rear panel. The eight balanced XLR-3 inputs have an impedance of 20kΩ and are routed to eight unbalanced RCA outputs with an output impedance of <50Ω. The output gain can be individually adjusted for left and right channels using preset potentiometers accessible from the rear panel. A power LED indicator on the front panel displays the power connection.
