Clear view from all angles
FlexScan models, equipped with a high-quality IPS panel and LED backlight, offer a wide viewing angle of 178° and realistic colour reproduction. As a result, contrast and colour tones change barely at all even when viewed from the side, which is advantageous in multi-screen installations and with particular seating positions. This ensures that viewing conditions are always ideal.
Flicker-free images thanks to anti-flicker LED technology
Flickering images cause eye strain. Due to the common LED backlight technology, flickering images are unfortunately part of everyday life for many users. 
FlexScan series monitors use a hybrid technology developed by EIZO. They regulate brightness so that the user perceives no flickering and therefore does not suffer from eye fatigue. This is achieved without any compromise in image and colour quality.
Auto EcoView - optimises brightness for you
To prevent eye fatigue, the Auto EcoView sensor continuously measures changes in ambient light, and the intelligent monitor control automatically optimises the screen to ideal brightness levels. With Auto EcoView, you can save up to 60% energy compared to a monitor at full brightness.
Perfect anti-glare
An anti-glare screen reduces eye fatigue by diffusing reflected light. All EIZO FlexScan models offer a perfect anti-glare surface.
Less blue light - Paper mode protects your eye health
The negative influence of blue light on eye health is an often overlooked issue. It is precisely high-energy blue light that can irreversibly damage the retina and retinal pigment epithelium. Typical LCD monitors have a preset colour temperature value of 6500 Kelvin, which is very intense in blue light. The Paper mode on EIZO monitors automatically optimises the proportion of red light and simultaneously reduces the amount of blue light. This considerably protects your eyes during intensive monitor work and reduces eye fatigue.
Optimal image with a single press of a button
Predefined colour values do not mean that these settings are optimal for all situations. Depending on your preferences, you may want different colour settings for text documents, images or films. Commercially available monitors have to be adjusted laboriously by hand. EIZO offers the appropriate solution! All current EV models offer several "FineContrast modes", which are activated simply by pressing a button. Using the ScreenManager Pro software, each application can be assigned a mode to be activated automatically at programme startup.
Precise colour control
Colour rendering is controlled by an internal 10-bit look-up table (LUT). This allows more precise gradation of colour information than standard 8-bit LUTs. Colour temperature control can be used to adjust white points from 4000 K to 10000 K in increments of 500 K. In addition, colour saturation (gain) for RGB colours can be adjusted separately.

Presence sensor to optimise power consumption
The EIZO EcoView Sense sensor puts your monitor into power saving mode when you leave your workstation and wakes it up when you return. Even in a multi-screen environment, this function ensures that all monitors remain on in your presence.
Energy savings of up to 30% with EcoView Optimizer
The EIZO EcoView Optimizer reduces energy consumption by up to 30% by decreasing the backlight brightness and increasing the signal gain. To ensure image quality, the EcoView Optimizer function only increases the signal gain when the screen is predominantly dark, as the associated reduction in brightness is almost imperceptible.
LED backlight: reduced energy consumption, longer service life
Compared to traditional CCFL backlights, LED backlights consume significantly less energy, generate less heat emissions and offer a longer service life. 
Of course, EIZO LED backlights are mercury-free and therefore environmentally friendly.
0 watt consumption in off mode
All FlexScan EV models are equipped with a mechanical switch. This allows 0 watt consumption when the monitor is switched off. In standby mode, these models consume less than 0.3 to 0.5 watts.
Environmental certifications
The latest FlexScan models are among the first monitors in the world to meet the stringent TCO Certified Generation 8 standard. These models also comply with strict international guidelines on ergonomics and energy saving such as EPEAT, EPA Energy Star and TÜV | Ergonomics.
Highly ergonomic positioning
This monitor is equipped with the highly ergonomic FlexStand3 stand. This allows the screen to tilt and swivel. In addition, this monitor can be positioned in a manner comparable to a laptop and is height-adjustable up to 140 mm. Furthermore, this model can be adjusted almost to the edge of the desk.
