Panasonic PT-RW630LBE - WUXGA LCD Projector, lens-free, black
The Panasonic PT-RW630 is the world's first black 1-chip DLP projector with a laser light source (lens-free) offering a brightness of 6,500 lm.
- Lamp-free Solid Shine
- Brightness of 6,500 lm
- 1-chip WXGA DLP
- Digital Link transmission
High image quality
- High brightness of 6,500 lm in a 1-chip DLP
A new heat-resistant material is used in the phosphor light source. Combined with a drive system also optimised for the light source, this has achieved a brightness of 6,500 lm, a world first in a 1-chip DLP projector.
- Exceptional contrast ratio of 10,000:1
The PT-RW630 projector directly controls the output of the laser light source itself, enabling a faster response than lamp projectors. Frame-by-frame scene-link modulation with full digital control allows the light output to be adjusted with greater precision. This gives the PT-RW630 an exceptional contrast ratio of 10,000:1 without reducing brightness.
- Dynamic light control technology
Dynamic light control technology enables very precise contrast control even when bright and dark scenes alternate suddenly or frequently. There is virtually no reduction in contrast when the projector is used for extended periods.
- Advanced technologies for excellent image quality
The Detail Clarity Processor 3 provides natural clarity down to the finest details and the Daylight View 2 system offers enhanced colour perception. The PT-RW630 features a wealth of other advanced technologies, including: Rec. 709 mode for HDTV projection, waveform monitor function, 3D colour management system, full 10-bit image processing, cinema progressive scanning (3:2 pulldown), dynamic sharpness control and digital noise reduction.
Lasting reliability
- Dual-drive laser optical engine for reliable 24/7 operation
It is almost impossible to imagine a laser light source suddenly going out. The PT-RW630 uses two sets of light sources that group laser diodes into multiple modules. Based on a redundant design, the laser diodes are used intensively, so that in the long term, if a laser diode were to stop functioning, a protection circuit would activate to keep the drop in brightness extremely low.
- Powerful cooling system maintains stable operation from 0°C to 45°C
The PT-RW630 uses newly developed cooling systems for the laser light source and DLP chip to suppress temperature rises inside the projector, enabling stable operation up to an ambient temperature of 45°C (113°F). The use of these cooling systems also enables quiet operation at 35 dB, allowing viewers to focus on the projected content.
- Lamp-free Solid Shine technology
The lamp-free Solid Shine technology delivers solid reliability and lasting brightness with approximately 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. There is no need to replace a lamp or air filter, enabling a dramatic reduction in total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Lasting image quality with constant brightness modes
The rate of brightness deterioration of the laser light source is extremely slow compared to lamp projectors. The built-in brightness and colour sensors eliminate brightness and colour fluctuations to constantly maintain an optimal balance.
Installation flexibility
- The multi-screen support system connects multiple displays
The multi-screen support system optimally adjusts multiple screens. The edges of adjacent screens can be blended and their luminance controlled by edge blending. The colour matching function corrects slight variations in the colour reproduction range of individual projectors. The PT-RW630 features digital zoom allowing images to be enlarged up to 10 times (horizontally and vertically).
- Flexible installation for convenient use
The wide adjustment range of the motorised horizontal/vertical lens shift function ensures convenience and versatility during installation. It allows you to easily make adjustments using the remote control.
- Omnidirectional installation capability
With the PT-RW630, projection is possible in all directions vertically and horizontally, and the unit can be rotated 360 degrees for installation at any angle.
- Multi-unit brightness control
For critical control rooms and projection mapping, this function automatically corrects brightness fluctuations that occur over time in individual projectors in a multi-screen system. Up to eight projectors can be controlled by connecting them to each other via a hub, and this number can be increased to a maximum of 2,048 projectors using the Multi Projector Monitoring & Control software.
Professional system integration
- Digital Link, the single-cable solution
Digital Link is an original function added to HDBaseT technology. Equipped with a Digital Link terminal, the PT-RW630 enables the transmission of HDMI signals, uncompressed HD digital video and control (Ethernet, RS-232C) up to 100 metres via a single CAT5e (STP) cable or higher.
- Easy remote monitoring and control via LAN network
A web browser on a computer connected via a wired LAN system allows you to remotely control projectors and check their status. A messaging function can also alert you when a lamp needs to be replaced and indicate the general status of the projector.
- Multiple terminals with HD-SDI compatibility
The PT-RW630 features multiple terminals, including DVI-D and HDMI terminals. It also has an SDI input terminal (SD-, HD- and 3G-SDI).
- Art-Net compatible
The PT-RW630 projector is compatible with the Art-Net protocol for lighting management. Art-Net compatibility allows you to connect the projector to the lighting console and use functions such as shutter open/close, input switching, power on/off, etc., simultaneously with lighting control.
