The LMP DataBox 800 SAS is an elegant, compact and quiet high-performance RAID system in durable aluminium with eight hard drive bays and a raw capacity of up to 48 TB at an attractive price. The included PCIe x8 SAS RAID controller features fault-tolerant RAID levels 5 and 6 and provides the system with a data throughput of over 800 MB/sec, suitable for professional HD video editing or SME applications with the highest performance requirements.


The LMP DataBox 800 SAS features a replaceable bridge card and two hot-swappable quiet fans that enable on-site system maintenance (component replacement). The rear (backplane) is wireless and ensures optimal data signal and minimal hardware errors. With Mini SAS, the LMP DataBox 800 SAS features the latest I/O technology for multiple hard drive configuration with the highest performance of over 800 MB/sec. Two Mini SAS SFF8088 connections each provide four hard drives with data.



An energy-efficient "80 Plus" 250W power supply is reliable and reduces energy costs. With its specially sound-insulated fans, the LMP DataBox 800 SAS is one of the most energy-efficient desktop storage systems on the market.
