If you need a complete set of microphones to capture your drums, consider the PreSonus DM-7. This microphone set offers you all the essential capsules you'll need to record a conventional drum kit up close, both on stage and in the studio.
First, the BD-1 cardioid dynamic microphone for kick drum has been specially designed to capture both the low frequencies and midrange of your kick drum. Four ST-4 cardioid dynamic microphones are designed to pick up your snare drum, high tom, mid tom and floor toms. They remain discreet thanks to the included adjustable mounting brackets that clip onto the drum rims.
For overheads, you can deploy the two included OH-2 small-diaphragm condenser microphones, which capture the brilliance of your cymbals and the overall atmosphere of the drum kit. These microphones also offer cardioid directionality.
A hard case is included, allowing you to take the microphones with you from gig to gig. Although this kit is primarily intended for drums, you can also use these microphones on other sources, such as bass amps (the BD-1), guitar cabinets (the ST-4), and acoustic guitars (the OH-2 microphones).
