The MKH 50 supercardioid offers higher attenuation of diffuse field and lateral sound than the cardioid microphone.
It is primarily designed for use as a solo or spot microphone for applications requiring a high degree of lateral sound attenuation and feedback rejection.
The directional characteristics are frequency-independent.
Features
-High lateral sound rejection
-Exceptionally low self-noise
-Transformerless and fully floating balanced output
-Symmetrical transducer technology ensures extremely low distortion
-Switchable low-cut filter to compensate for proximity effects at a distance of approximately 0.5 m
-Switchable pre-attenuation
-Black anodised lightweight metal body
