The SM40NU-3 is a secure 4-port KM switch. It enables users to share devices - keyboard, mouse, audio and USB - between four networks/computers with different security levels whilst isolating all hosts and protecting against data leakage and malicious attacks via shared peripherals. It also allows assigning a USB port to a specific computer whilst switching other devices, for example when a USB smart card reader must remain mapped to a particular computer. The SM40NU-3 offers the highest possible level of isolation between connected computers and is NIAP Common Criteria Protection Profile version 3.0 (PP3.0) certified.

- Smooth switching between computers (virtual display technology) - Automatically switch control of all peripherals from one computer to another by dragging the cursor between the display borders of each computer.

- Keyboard lock indication - Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock indication on the front panel.

- Multiple display arrangements - Assign the cursor to each computer based on its screen alignment (vertical or horizontal).

- Biometric/smart card reader support - Connect a smart card/biometric reader to the secure port to enable user authentication across multiple isolated computers.
