The AdderLink AV series is a range of audio-visual extenders offering high video resolutions and superb audio quality up to 300 m using standard CATx cable (x=5,5e,6,7). Designed for use in digital signage applications, this innovative design enables flexible distribution that can scale with project developments and ensures direct transmission of clear communications to consumers at the point of decision. The AdderLink AV series avoids the prohibitive costs of fibre optic cabling, displays with built-in CPU or installing a CPU next to each display. Features: • Video and audio extension over a single CATx cable • Exceptional video quality with resolutions up to 1920x1080 at 200 m and 1280 x 1024 at 300 m • Click-free high-fidelity digital audio (16-bit, 44.1 kHz, stereo) • Fine and independent control of sharpness and brightness • DDC support • Built-in advanced 300 MHz DeSkew with full 62 ns scale and 2 ns granularity (AV101R only) • Pass-through / cascade port on the transmitter • Dual video and audio outputs on the receiver • Standalone use or rack mounting of 16 modules on 3U • Advanced surge protection circuits for reliability in „noisy” installations • All-metal construction • Power / video indication confirming proper operation Integral DeSkew (ADDERLink AV101R only) Skew compensation adjustments can be made using the two rotary dials on the AdderLink AV101R receiver unit. The first dial affects the relationship between the green and blue colour signals, the second between red and green. Cable skew is produced due to differences in wire length between the different twisted pairs in a CATx cable, which occur due to the different twist rates used to reduce signal crosstalk. The amount of cable skew observed depends on the type of cable used and its length. The AdderLink AV101R provides up to 62 ns of DeSkew with a fine resolution of 2 ns. This means that high-resolution video can be accurately corrected even over long cable distances. The DeSkew supports bandwidths of 300 MHz, which means that the DeSkew function does not adversely affect video quality. The AdderLink AV series consists of 4 interchangeable units: ADDERLink AV100T Transmitter • Sold individually or in pairs (AdderLink AV100P) • High-resolution video and high-fidelity audio extension up to 300 m • Local port on the transmitter for connecting a local display and speakers or for daisy-chaining other AdderLink AV100T transmitter units ADDERLink AV100R Receiver • Duplicates the transmitter input allowing 2 video outputs and 2 audio outputs • Can be used as a receiver up to 300 m from AdderLink AV100T or AdderLink AV104T transmitters ADDERLink AV104T Transmitter • Extension of a single high-resolution video signal and high-fidelity audio to 4 different receivers • Local port for connecting a local display and speakers or for daisy-chaining to other AdderLink AV104T transmitter units ADDERLink AV101R Receiver Unit • Duplicates the transmitter input allowing 2 video outputs and 2 audio outputs • Built-in skew adjustment allowing the receiver to be placed further from the transmitter and/or handle higher video resolutions • Can be used as a receiver up to 300 m from AdderLink AV100T or AdderLink AV104T transmitters • Has a local cascade port allowing other receivers to be daisy-chained from the original receiver
