The AdderView AVSD1002 secure digital KVM switch allows sharing of a monitor, keyboard and mouse, as well as audio between high and low security systems, sometimes called red and black networks, and is carefully designed to prevent the flow of information between computers or to the outside world via emissions eavesdropping. AdderView's secure design prevents sensitive data leakage between ports, sensitive data leakage to the outside world and storage of sensitive data in the device. Additionally, the switch actively combats a range of potential leakage "threats".
The AVSD1002 is designed to enable control of two computers in a secure environment from a single high-resolution KVM console using dual-link DVI or VGA (via an optional DVI-I to VGA adapter). The dual-link DVI interface operates at full DVI bandwidth up to 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz to ensure that high-end applications requiring high resolution or precise video quality operate smoothly. DVI interfaces have the additional security advantage that randomisation of the low-order video bit can make eavesdropping much more difficult.
