The ADDERLink X200 has been designed for applications where up to two computers can have their keyboard, video, audio and mouse control extended up to 300 m (1000 feet) via a CAT5 or higher UTP cable. The ADDERLink X200 provides absolute real-time performance for keyboard and mouse, as well as high-definition, high-resolution video via a VGA interface. The ADDERLink X200 receiver can also be used as a remote user station for the ADDERView CATx KVM switch range. Video performance Leading-edge resolutions: 1920 x 1200 up to 50 m (165 feet) 1600 x 1200 up to 200 m (650 feet) 1280 x 1024 up to 300 m (1000 feet) Video compensation The ADDERLink X200 applies 128 levels of signal compensation allowing precise image adjustments. Brightness control The ADDERLink X200 offers its own brightness correction to ensure sharp, clear and bright images. Built-in deskew correction The ADDERLink X200 AS/R model has built-in deskew correction with 300 MHz bandwidth (1/4 pixel shift at 1600 x 1200 resolution). This eliminates video deskew problems that can be caused by longer CATx cables. Built-in two-port KVM switch Each receiver is equipped with two ports to allow connection to a local and remote computer, or two remote computers. The user can quickly select between these ports using keyboard shortcuts or mouse control. Individual brightness, compensation and video deskew settings can be applied to each connection. Flexible system configuration Each receiver can be connected to one or two USB, PS/2 or Sun-style computer access modules. In addition, the X200 receiver unit can be used as a remote user station for any ADDER CATx KVM switch. Emulated DDC Unless an extender actively supports DDC, some well-known high-performance video cards cannot be used in high resolution. The ADDERLink X200 fully supports DDC. Digital audio 44.1 kHz digital stereo audio provides high-fidelity sound for speakers.
