AJA Routers
The compact KUMO SDI routers are small and economical, whilst being robust and reliable. KUMO supports full broadcast specifications on SDI, HD-SDI and 3G SDI. KUMO routers integrate seamlessly into any broadcast, production or post-production environment. Running on embedded Linux, KUMO routers are network-ready and support powerful HTTP control and monitoring. KUMO's internal web server enables immediate installation, configuration and use with standard web browsers - no additional software to purchase or install. An optional 1RU network control panel (KUMO CP) can be used in standalone or networked configurations.
The KUMO 1616 supports sixteen input and output channels. Due to their compact 1RU size, KUMO SDI routers are ideal for space-sensitive applications such as mobile sports trucks, edit suites, corporate video installations or live theatrical A/V installations. KUMO compact SDI routers offer AJA's reliability, flexibility and cutting-edge signal quality, all at an unprecedented price.
Simple installation and configuration - and easily scalable
Installing compact KUMO routers is easy: with Bonjour, network configuration is automatic - simply connect KUMO to your network or computer. Alternatively, standard network configuration is also easy - simply connect KUMO to your network or computer and access KUMO via its default IP address.
Once connected to KUMO using a web browser, you can configure all TCP/IP settings, select and name KUMO routers, name sources and destinations, and perform all operational functions.
For standalone KUMO router configurations with only KUMO CP control panels, simply connect the KUMO components together with standard RJ45 cables and an Ethernet switch (if required).
