The VP-771 is a high-quality presentation switcher and scaler for various signal types.

It accepts one of nine inputs: component video, DisplayPort (DP), 3G HD-SDI, two computer graphics signals, two composite videos and two HDMI signals. It scales the video, embeds audio and sends the signal to an HDMI output, a computer graphics output, a 3G HD-SDI output and a DGKat TP output, with digital audio, unbalanced stereo and a 2x10 watt amplified stereo output for loudspeakers.

K-IIT XL™ picture-in-picture insertion technology - Ultra-stable picture-in-picture, picture-beside-picture and split-screen capability. Any video source can be inserted or positioned next to any other video source with full control over window positioning and size.

Kramer PixPerfect™ scaling technology - Precise pixel mapping and high-quality scaling technology. High-quality 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down and full upscaling and downscaling of all input video signals.

Ultra-fast Fade-Thru-Black (FTB™) switching - Video switching transitions are crisp and ultra-fast. The video fades to black and the new input appears gradually from black for smooth, trouble-free switching. The output signal provides constant sync so that the display never loses sync.

Advanced de-interlacing features - Selectable method, sync, film modes, diagonal correction and motion detection sensitivity, 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down; 24sf handling.

HDTV compatible.

HDCP compatible - The HDCP (High Definition Content Protection) licence agreement allows copy-protected data on the HDMI input to pass only to the HDMI output.

Multi-standard operation - SDI (SMPTE 259M and SMPTE 344M), HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M) and 3G HD-SDI (SMPTE 424M).

Advanced EDID management of inputs and outputs.

Mass Notification Emergency Communication (MNEC) system - Enables nationwide or campus-wide notification, displayed immediately when an emergency situation develops. It uses automatic text overlay, either scrolling or full-screen, as well as an optional audio alert.

DGKat™ signal integration - Unique Kramer technology for converting TMDS along with control and communication into signals that travel over twisted-pair cables. We strongly recommend using Kramer's DGKat™ cables designed specifically for optimal performance.

Range - Up to 90m at 1080i, or up to 30m at 1080p on shielded BC-DGKat524 cable. Up to 90m at 1080i, or up to 70m at 1080p on shielded BC-DGKat623 cable. Up to 100m at 1080i or up to 90m at 1080p on shielded BC-DGKat7a23 cable.
