Kramer HD Video Streaming Decoder
The KDS-DEC4 is an H.264 decoder for HDMI signals up to 1920x1080p@60Hz. It provides high-quality, end-to-end complete IP video and audio. The KDS-DEC4 includes AVC support for H.264/MPEG-4 and AAC codec, open encoding allowing decoding via VLC® player software and unicast or multicast streaming via RTSP.
- High-resolution video encoding and compression - Supports the following resolutions: 1080p@60Hz (decoder only), 1080p@30Hz, 720p@60Hz and 720p@30Hz.
- Maximum compatibility - Fully standards-compliant H.264/MPEG-4 AVC (Advanced Video Codec) and AAC (Advanced Audio Code) codecs, enabling compatibility with other software and hardware encoders. Open encoding allows software decoding via VLC® player.
- Flexible audio support - Unbalanced stereo line input and built-in HDMI for encoder input and decoder output.
- Standard Ethernet network operation - 10/100/1000Mb.
- Selectable streaming mode - Unicast or multicast via RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol).
- Customisable recording - Store streaming sessions on a computer or external USB storage device.
- Powerful, versatile and user-friendly device management - Manage unit operation and settings using the Kramer Network enterprise management platform.
- Flexible operation - Control the unit via RS-232 control or via built-in web pages. Control an external device via RS-232 DATA port.
- Easy installation - Compact fanless DigiTOOLS® housing for ceiling mounting, or side-by-side mounting of 3 units in 1U rack space with optional RK-3T rack adapter.
