Bluebell SMPTE hybrid alternative connection kit
ShaxX-LITE-XX
SMPTE hybrid alternative connection kit – Used in conjunction with Shax-CCU, it enables cameras equipped with hybrid fibre to be connected to the CCU via standard fibre networks.

ShaxX-LITE SMPTE hybrid alternative connector kit for power insertion. Bluebell's ShaxX system has been designed to provide power insertion to broadcast cameras equipped with standard SMPTE 304M hybrid connectors, thus allowing them to be powered remotely via the hybrid cable. 
Power can be inserted and transferred to the remote camera which can be up to 300m away. 
Combined with the Shax-CCU, cameras can be deployed remotely using ordinary single-mode fibre optic networks that may exist in a stadium, campus or metropolitan area. 
Shax-LITE is supplied in a compact format for the most economical solutions. 
It is supplied in a "Multi Camera" version which is switchable between major camera manufacturers for easy deployment. 
ShaxX-LITE allows the user to replace the hybrid fibre/copper cable between the camera and CCU with a standard fibre cable and relay all communications and signals. 
This frees the camera from the need to be connected to a local mains power supply. 
The ShaxX-LITE can also be combined with BC series multi-format interfaces to carry signals from multiple cameras over a single cable. 
This can help reduce and simplify set-up and installation time.

The front panel LEDs provide instant feedback on the link status between each camera and CCU. 
The ShaxX-LITE is enclosed in a robust and reinforced aluminium housing, ideal for outdoor broadcast and rapid deployment applications. 
An optional rack mounting panel also allows 2 Shax-LITE units to be mounted in standard 19" chassis.
