The IPR-10G2-SDI is a SMPTE ST 2110 to SDI Mini-Converter suited for point-of-use applications, particularly for source monitoring and 3G-SDI output to compatible devices. With two 3G-SDI outputs mirroring the source video, you can feed a display and simultaneously connect in 3G-SDI.
With 3G/1.5G-SDI routers often at maximum capacity whilst installations await their transition to IP, there is enormous advantage in being able to send video sources from a stream, camera, router or edit bay via IP and provide SDI monitoring at destination whilst feeding your video and audio further down a 3G-SDI chain.
The AJA IPR-10G2-SDI receives SMPTE ST 2110 IP video and audio, then formats the data for 3G-SDI output.
Audio associated with the video stream is extracted, synchronised, then embedded into the SDI interface as well as on an analogue RCA output.
Workflow
The IPR-10G2-SDI provides two SDI outputs from SMPTE ST 2110 video and audio over IP compatible devices. Combine your IPR-10G2-SDI units with AJA KONA IP (I/O card for workstations) to instantly create a true ST 2110 workflow for IP video production and monitoring.
User control
The IPR-10G2-SDI offers two main control methods. The Ethernet Control LAN port enables control of the Mini-Converter from web browsers on any platform and REST clients. The mini-USB connector facilitates quick and simple initial network configuration, as well as firmware updates.

Universal power supply
All AJA Mini-Converters are supplied with a universal power supply that includes international connectors for worldwide use.
Compact and portable
AJA Mini-Converters are compact enough to be installed behind a monitor, at the back of a rack or directly on a camera mount. A lockable power connector cannot accidentally disconnect and an optional P-TAP power cable enables battery power in remote locations.
