Aja 4K HDMI to 4K 4X 3G SDI
Featuring four 3G-SDI outputs, the openGear-compatible OG-HA5-4K offers high-quality conversion of HDMI 2.0 video from DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, action cameras or consumer 4K camcorders to 4K/UltraHD 3G-SDI for use in professional workflows.
Connectivity
A growing number of 4K products use an HDMI output connection, which allows a full 4K signal to be transmitted over a single cable. Typical professional 4K workflows use four SDI cables to carry the full resolution image, making it difficult to integrate these new devices. The OG-HA5-4K is an easy-to-use converter that bridges the gap between these two worlds for seamless integration.
HDR
HDR or High Dynamic Range offers the ability to display a wider and richer range of colours, much brighter whites and much deeper and darker blacks than standard signals allow. This gives your images a more “dynamic” appearance and allows you to communicate natural and true-to-life colours to your audience.
4K and UltraHD
The OG-HA5-4K supports conversion of full 4K resolution (4096x2160) as well as UltraHD (3840x2160) from HDMI to 3G-SDI at frame rates up to 50/60 fps, providing an excellent solution for 4K cinema productions as well as UltraHD projects.
HD support
Not all work is in 4K. When not working in 4K, the OG-HA5-4K can still be a useful tool for converting HD-HDMI to HD-SDI. The OG-HA5-4K will automatically detect an incoming HDMI signal in HD resolution and convert it to a single 3G-SDI output, just like AJA's OG-HA5-Plus mini-converter.
Audio
Up to 2 channels of embedded audio in the incoming HDMI signal are transparently passed to the SDI output, ensuring your audio is always synchronised and perfectly carried with the SDI signal for use throughout your workflow.
openGear compatibility
The openGear standard ensures that AJA cards will be compatible with other openGear products from certified openGear partners. With a growing list of products, openGear represents the future of frame-based products.
Flexible I/O
The modular rear panel allows custom I/O connections per card (included with individual cards).
Built-in security
Optional redundant power supply provides a secondary power source in the event of main power supply failure.
Ethernet access
A standard Ethernet connection provides access to the frame via the Dashboard application for overall frame communication.
