The 614T and 614R form a compact and lightweight detachable optical transmitter-receiver pair. They transmit uncompressed DVI resolutions up to 1920x1200 at 60 Hz using a single multimode fibre optic cable with SC connectors. The 614T converts the DVI signal into an optical signal which it transmits to the 614R. The 614R decodes the optical signals into a DVI signal.
