AJA's ROI-DVI mini-converter enables exceptional high-quality conversion of computer DVI and HDMI outputs to baseband video over SDI at an affordable price and in a highly portable format. With extensive audio features, incredible image scaling as well as picture format and frame rate conversion, ROI-DVI meets the growing need to properly integrate computer signals into the video world without sacrificing budget or space.

Connecting an ROI mini-converter via USB to a computer running the free Mini-Config application allows you to interactively select a region of interest from the incoming computer signal and have complete control over how that region is scaled to the output resolution using AJA's high-quality scaling algorithms for the best possible image quality. Take full control of picture format and frame rate conversion with on-screen controls in the Mini-Config software that show you exactly what your source and output will look like and which formats are going in and out. Simple menu controls allow you to quickly select the appropriate output for any situation. ROI uses a direct loop-through, allowing it to be placed inline so you always have a connection to an external monitor whilst extracting to SDI. Reference input ensures that the SDI signal coming out of the ROI is locked for use throughout a production or installation. ROI accepts 2-channel audio from the 3.5 mm analogue audio input or 8-channel embedded audio from an HDMI input. Audio source and routing can be selected in the Mini-Config software and are embedded in the SDI output. This allows computer audio to be integrated into the SDI signal for easy and synchronised routing.
All AJA mini-converters come with a universal power supply that includes international plug connections for worldwide use. AJA mini-converters are small enough to fit behind a monitor, at the back of a rack or directly on a camera mount. A locking power connector cannot accidentally come loose and an optional P-TAP power cable enables battery power in remote locations.
