The BC561R is a receiver designed to convert an optical signal into a 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI electrical signal. The incoming optical signal is routed to a transimpedance amplifier and limiter before being electrically resynchronised at the output.nnA return path for 2 different differential analogue audio signals and a genlock/composite signal is carried on a second fibre, making the BC551 perfect for adding economical fibre inputs/outputs to remote compact camera systems.nnThe BC561R is available in multimode, single-mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.nnThe BC561R occupies a single slot in the 19" rack chassis BC100-3RU, which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards.nnSignal and card monitoring is performed via SNMP monitoring in the BM102 network card.nnFor standalone applications, the BC561R can be housed in a robust individual enclosure.
