The BC313R is a receiver for converting an optical signal to 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI electrical signal. The incoming optical signal is routed to a transimpedance amplifier and limiter before being electrically reclocked at the output.nnEach BC313R is housed in a compact and robust housing, designed for outdoor broadcast and special events as well as studio use.nnPower is provided via the optional PS10/XLR unit. The PS10/XLR has an IEC mains input allowing easy adoption into standard equipment racks. The BC313R has a 4-pin XLR allowing power from various external DC sources in the range of 4.5 to 17 V.nnThe BC313s are extremely compact single-channel fibre optic converters, which are perfectly suited to provide interference-free transmission and extend the range of electrical signals, particularly HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals.nnEach channel can operate in non-reclocked mode and handles data rates from 50 Mb/s to 3 Gb/s.nnThe BC313R is available in single-mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.nnThe BC313R can also be used for interfacing with any standard Bluebell card and housing.
