The Bluebell Shax system has been designed to enable SD-SDI and HD-SDI broadcast cameras equipped with standard SMPTE 304M hybrid connectors to be deployed using ordinary single-mode optical fibre.nnThis system allows the user to replace the hybrid fibre/copper cable between the camera and the CCU with a standard fibre cable. The Shax system is perfect for stadiums, arenas andnnconcert halls that have pre-installed fibre networks.nnBoth ends of this system are housed in a compact, lightweight and reinforced aluminium casing, ideally suited to outdoor broadcast applications and rapid deployment where the camera can be powered locally.nnShax extends the range of the camera system and frees the operator from long lengths of cumbersome hybrid cable. Connection with duplex single-mode fibre is via standard SC, LC, ST or FC connectors.
