The OTR 1240 is a fibre MADI transmitter and receiver combined in a single housing. The module is designed to convert up to 64 audio channels bidirectionally (64 IN & 64 OUT) between Optical MADI and Coaxial MADI (electrical) formats. The conversion is done in real time [without latency] and does not degrade the signal quality.


The OTR 1240 is a compact and economical solution for extending MADI audio range over long distances. When coupled with another OTR 1240 at the receiving end (using two fibre links), you have an economical and latency-free MADI extension system for distances up to 40 km.


18 selectable CWDM wavelengths are provided to allow the module to be used in a multiplexed CWDM environment.
