The FC-28 is a PoE-powered control gateway capable of being deployed plug-and-play on the client's Ethernet LAN network for remote control of client-controlled devices via bidirectional RS-232, IR, GPI/O and relay control connections. Multiple control clients can be IP-connected to the FC-28 control gateway for simultaneous control of two RS-232 devices, four IR-controllable devices such as AV scalers, video displays, audio amplifiers, DVD players, sensors, displays, blinds, door locks and lighting. - 2 bidirectional RS-232 control ports — Control a device via bidirectional serial control protocols. - 4 IR emitter control ports — Control a device via IR control protocols. - 2 GPI/O control ports — Control a device via general-purpose input/output ports, programmatically configured as digital input, digital output or analogue input interface to control sensors, door locks, audio volume and light dimming level, or lighting control devices. - 2 relay control ports — Control a device via relay contact closure, such as scrolling up and down displays, curtains, blinds and shutters. - Simultaneous IP control communication — With up to 40 IP control clients. - IR sensor port — Learns commands from IR remote controls. - Mini USB port — For firmware updates and local technical services. - 1 Ethernet control port — Protocol-based remote control port. - PoE support — According to IEEE 802.3af standard. - Built-in web pages — Browser-based remote control and support. - Easy installation — Single Ethernet cable for communication and PoE power, and plug & play deployment with automatic IP configuration for simple and economical installation.
