The FC-6 is a multifunctional RS-232/IR control gateway capable of being deployed plug-and-play on a client Ethernet LAN network for remote bidirectional RS-232 control and IR transmission of client devices. Multiple control clients can be IP-connected to the FC-6 control gateway for simultaneous control of two RS-232 devices or four IR-controllable devices such as AV scalers, video displays, audio amplifiers and DVD players.


- Dual-function I/O ports — Remote IP control of devices connected to the control gateway's dual-function I/O ports, with selectable port configuration for bidirectional RS-232 or IR control.

- Multiple IP-connected clients — Remotely connected via the client's Ethernet network, simultaneously controlling all devices connected to the control gateway's I/O ports.

- Easy and reliable installation — Plug-and-play IP installation with dynamic address resolution (DHCP) and automatic device discovery on the client's LAN network. Resilient power supply with USB and optional power supply (not included). Compact, designed for piggyback installation, for example behind a TV or display, with the ability to draw power from the device's USB port and Ethernet connectivity.

- Remote management — Built-in web interface for browser-based remote management and support by multiple IP clients on the client's LAN network. Easy firmware updates, either remotely via the client's LAN network or locally via the device's USB port.

- Pico TOOLS™ — Mount 4 units side by side in a 1U rack space with the optional RK-4PT rack adapter.
