Using the same base module, we offer four versions adapted for single-mode fibre optic connections with LC, ST or SC connectors, as well as a version for multimode fibre. Each version has a different SFP.

The OTX 1812 is a compact SDI to fibre optic transmitter designed to overcome the restrictions associated with distributing uncompressed broadcast-quality video signals over long distances.

When paired with a fibre optic to SDI receiver (such as the yellobrik ORX 1802), you have a highly cost-effective optical transmit/receive system for signals up to 1080p60 (3Gbps), while maintaining uncompressed quality.

The OTX 1812 provides a looping SDI input and supports single-mode fibre connections with LC, ST or SC connectors, as well as an LC version suitable for multimode fibre.

The OTX 1812 automatically detects any connected video signal from 270Mbps to 3Gbps according to SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 259M standards, as well as DVB-ASI.
