The TDM-700 system is designed to provide a compact, robust and economical optical link between a remote POV (Point of View) camera and an OB van or control room.
The link provides an HD/SD-SDI stream from the camera and a return composite video stream for genlock or monitoring, plus bidirectional RS232 and RS422 data for complete POV control.

A 10/100 BaseT Ethernet link is provided to enable control of IP devices whilst a GPI path can be used to drive a tally light. All signals are multiplexed and carried over two fibres for easy installation or on-site deployment.

The remote camera end TDM-700CE is supplied in a compact aluminium housing with a choice of connectors suitable for Studio and Broadcast applications.

The TDM-700B base unit fits into a single slot of the standard 19" rack Bluebell chassis allowing multiple cameras to feed a central control room or OB van.

Alternatively, both ends can be supplied in standard BC Series card format for economical transport of HD, composite video and data, whether in studio or mobile configuration. They are particularly suitable for linking remote video servers to slow-motion controllers, with Ethernet being used for PC configuration of the server.

TDM-700 links are available in multimode, single-mode, WDM and CWDM to suit any application.
