Multimode 3G/SDI fibre optic transceiver card, automatic detection for 3G-SDI, HD/SDI, SD/SDI, ASI.
The BC360 is a 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI transceiver.
It handles two independent transport streams in opposite directions over two fibres.
Channel A is an auto-detecting 3G-SDI optical transmitter and supports all serial digital video formats. It operates with data rates from 50 Mb/s to 3.0 Gb/s. The incoming signal is cable equalised, reclocked and fed to the optical driver. The optical driver can be single-mode, multimode or CWDM. There is also an active loop-through.
Channel B is a 3G-SDI optical receiver. The optical input is routed to the PIN/TIA to a limiting amplifier and the signal is automatically detected and reclocked to the appropriate signal standard.
Independent cable drivers feed two output BNC connectors.
All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, providing excellent jitter-free optical transport.
The BC360 is available in single-mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application. The BC360 occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19″ rack chassis, allowing up to 15 video channels to be transmitted and received in a single 3RU chassis. Signal and card monitoring is via SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card. Alternatively, GP output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.
For standalone applications, the BC360 can be housed in a robust individual enclosure.
