The BC360R is a receiver for converting optical signals to 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and ASI electrical signals. The incoming optical signal is sent to a transimpedance and limiting amplifier before being electrically resynchronised to the outputs. All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, providing excellent jitter-free optical transport.
Two serial digital signals are available at the output. The BC360R is available in single-mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.

BC360 cards are suitable for applications where customers wish to maintain main and backup channels on separate physical cards for redundancy.

The BC360R occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19" rack chassis which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards. Some BC series processing cards have dual functionality allowing transmission or reception of up to 30 video channels from a single 3RU chassis.
Signal and card monitoring is performed via SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card.
Alternatively, GP output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.

For standalone applications, the BC360R can be housed in a robust individual enclosure.
