Optical transmitter card 3G/HD-SDI single mode with 8 x analogue audio multiplexers with LC connector. (Dedicated CWDM laser, wavelength matched to ITU grid spacing).

The BC450T is a transmitter for converting 3G/HD/SD-SDI signal to optical signal with the capability to incorporate 8 analogue audio channels at line level. The incoming signal is automatically detected then equalised before conversion and transmission over a single optical fibre. All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, providing excellent jitter-free optical transport.

Both SFP transmitter outputs are used to allow easy distribution of the optical output.

The BC450T multiplexer can be used with a BC460R demultiplexer allowing the analogue inputs to feed AES outputs.

The BC450T is available in multimode, single mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.

The BC450T occupies a single slot in the 19" rack chassis BC100-3RU which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards. Certain processing cards in the BC series have dual functionality allowing transmission or reception of up to 30 video channels from a single 3RU chassis.
Signal and card monitoring is achieved via SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card.
Alternatively, GP output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.

For standalone applications, the BC450T can be housed in a robust individual enclosure.
