3G-SDI multimode optical receiver card with 4 x AES de-embedding

The BC460R is a receiver for converting an optical signal to 3G/HD/SD-SDI with the capability to de-embed 4 AES/EBU audio channels. The incoming optical signal is routed to a transimpedance and limiting amplifier before being electrically resynchronised to the outputs. An internal de-embedder drives the AES/EBU output signals via a line transformer. All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, providing excellent jitter-free optical transport.
The BC460R de-embedder can be used with a BC450T embedder allowing analogue inputs to feed the AES outputs. The BC460R is available in multimode, single-mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.

The BC460R occupies a single slot in the 19" rack chassis BC100-3RU which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards. Some BC series processing cards have dual functionality enabling transmission or reception of up to 30 video channels from a single 3RU chassis.
Signal and card monitoring is performed via SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card.
Alternatively, GP output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.

For standalone applications, the BC460R can be housed in a robust individual enclosure.
