The BC460T is a transmitter for converting 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals to optical signals with the capacity to embed 4 AES/EBU audio channels. The incoming signal is automatically detected and then equalised before conversion and transmission over a single optical fibre. All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, offering excellent jitter-free optical transport.nnThe BC460T embedder can be used with a BC450R de-embedder allowing AES inputs to feed analogue outputs. The BC460T is available in multimode, singlemode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.nnThe BC460T occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19" rack-mountable chassis which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards. Some BC series processing cards have dual functionality enabling transmission or reception of up to 30 video channels from a single 3RU chassis.nSignal and card monitoring is performed via SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card.nAlternatively, GP-Output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.nnFor standalone applications, the BC460T can be housed in a ruggedised individual enclosure.nnnspecifications
